Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog about dealing with Alopecia! I realize sometimes the entries are negative, and not uplifting, but I use blog and journal-writing as a place to vent about what upsets me! I am a happy person, and I understand that everyone has their own struggles to deal with. This is mine, and I share my story in order to spread the word about Alopecia, and also to make you question what your definition of beauty is.

About Me

Shauna: I'm a university student with a passion for classical music, and singing! My future career goal is to become a successful opera singer. Over the past few months I have been dealing with Alopecia, and hair loss. I wanted to blog about it, because I feel like a lot people might benefit from not only understanding how much pressure society places on our looks, but also reading about a personal experience that is out of the ordinary, and does question many of our thoughts about self.
